Lawrie Griffiths' practice primarily concerns our connection to objects, materials, and imagery and aims to, as part of a process re-imagine and recast our apprehension of them.  His current work continues to interrogate the nature of objects but now includes consideration of objects, material and imagery in relation to location and to space; particularly the way qualities of spaces interact with, and ultimately condition the objects within them. As a result, the most recent work has extended beyond the wall and is a more physical and spatial exploration.
